Printed cotton blouse and skirt set by Emilio Pucci - Circa 1970-1980

Blue-printed cotton blouse and skirt set from the famous Emilio Pucci fashion house in Florence, dating from 1970/80. Long-sleeved, slim-fit blouse in cotton voile printed in shades of turquoise to lavender blue and underlined in white and black with the Emilio signature. V-neck with turned-down panels, fastened at front with pareil-covered buttons. Matching skirt in thicker cotton twill with wide pleats for fluidity. Zip fastening on one side. No lining and white label with blue lettering indicating Emilio Pucci Florence - Italy Made in Italy 100% Pure Cotton. No holes or stains, little worn. Good condition.

Skirt: Height 69 cm Waist 71 cm Hips 97 cm.

Nicknamed "the prince of prints", Emilio Pucci (1914-1992) left his mark on fashion history with his pop prints, flashy colours and graphic patterns that inspired fashion in the 1960s. His style was characterised by flashy, colourful prints combined with stretch fabrics. Her glamorous, feminine outfits in acid colours and psychedelic patterns are graphic and very cheerful.
